– I really like the use of neon. The cinematography is great!
– Fav line. The arresting cop tells John “I’ll be on you like stink on doo doo.” I guess he’s watching his language because he’s a Christian?
– “I’m Audi 5000” is SUCH a 90s thing to say
– This movie has a unique, street level view of being an undercover cop
– “It’s the laundress’ maths. It’s the laundress’ maths.” Why is Jeff Goldblum channeling Peter Lorre in this scene? 🤣
– Scarface reference. Talking about Al Pacino 
– Jeff Goldblum is so great. Jeff Goldblum, Steve Buscemi, Christopher Walken, etc. The type of actor that is great, no matter the part.
– Not often that poetry is used in a character’s dialogue
– I felt a bit of Asian film influence toward the end. John Woo’s A Better Tomorrow, perhaps?
– Very solid and entertaining movie! I definitely recommend it if you like crime films like the ones I mentioned previously
